The Southern California Mountains Foundation is restoring our public lands within the San Bernardino National Forest and you're invited to join this great cause! Restoration work includes seed collecting, planting, mulching, weeding, watering, trash pick-up, graffiti removal and more. Great for all ages!

National Public Lands Day
Trail Work happening Saturday, September 27 from 9 AM - 2 PM

Everyone is welcome at our National Public Lands Day event! We will have education and outreach booths, information on our current projects in the Big Bear Valley, and beginner-friendly trail work and trailhead maintenance work. For those wanting to participate in trail or trailhead work, please wear close-toed shoes and long pants. We will provide the tools, gloves, and hard hats (if needed). Lunch as well as drinks and snacks will be provided. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
